Abstract

Robert C. Jones will reflect on the most effective (and ineffective) strategies in his recent debates and discussions with animal researchers at UCLA and cattle ranchers in Chico, CA.

Bio

Robert C. Jones publishes on animal ethics, animal cognition, and research ethics, and  has given nearly forty talks on the moral status of animals. In 2015 he will be curating the exhibit “Can Science Save Animals?” at the National Museum of Animals and Society in Los Angeles. He is currently Assistant Professor of Philosophy at California State University, Chico.
