By becoming a member of the Institute for Critical Animal Studies (ICAS) you directly support the work that ICAS does to stop the torture and exploitation of nonhuman animals in higher education and the work they do in making higher education a more ethical and inclusive space for nonhuman animals.
- By joining ICAS you will be joining the first and only organization in the world dedicated to animal advocacy in higher education. Beyond animal advocacy ICAS promotes and aids in the development of academic degrees, programs, working-groups, forums, and committees dedicated to critical animal studies, the only field of study dedicated to the abolition of animal oppression and exploitation.
- If you want to end animal cruelty and exploitation it begins on how and who we educate in college.
- Your money will go to maintaining costs of outreach material, hosting conferences and other events, websites, listserves, keeping the Journal for Critical Animal Studies free, promoting the Book Series, and publishing other publications.
